EUROTHANKSHELPERS
Last weekend, EURO Coaches, Directors & a humble number of proud EURO players set off into the AYSO fields to divide and conquer and make families aware EURO is a local travel soccer club option. Many thanks to all the players, families and coaches who volunteered their time and made the effort to join forces and promote our eurotastic Club!
FREECLINICSbyEURO
EURO has offered free soccer clinics at local schools to give other children an opportunity to learn a couple soccer skills from professional coaches. There was enough interest expressed on our website that EURO is trying to offer another FREE CLINIC at TECHNY on THURSDAY, May 16th from 4:30 – 5:30P BUT we need a minimum of 8 confirmed participants. If you know any other soccer enthusiasts interested in a EURO experience please have them contact Program Director, Rob Etheridge, at 773.592.6942 by Thursday 9AM.
EUROWELCOMESFRIENDS
BRING A FRIEND to practice!!!!! EURO players are still welcome to invite friends to come and experience what they have been experiencing for the last several months. Whether it is just a curious friend or a friend who is looking for a travel soccer club option, if they have a pair of soccer boots bring them out to Techny for some soccer fun! Please advise your coach if you plan to bring a friend so he can prepare accordingly.

EUROTRYOUTS
The exciting season of tryouts is now DAYS away! We would love to have all of you back and hope we can augment our teams with additional talent. Players must register online at http://www.eurosoccerclub.net/page/show/149575-euro-soccer-club to participate in 2013-14 tryouts. NOTE: Tryouts take place over 2 days and all players are expected to be at both for a fair and accurate assessment.
EUROMANIA
As EURO is feverishly trying to add talent to the Club, EURO DIRECTORS, Rob & Paul, are hopeful our families will help promote EURO in the North Shore and neighboring communities. By now, you should have been given EURO posters, postcards, yard signs and magnets to proudly display. Don’t be shy! Grab more if you like and post them like MAD!!! Rob or Paul will be at Techny parking lot TODAY distributing some of these items if you do not have them yet.
Many EURO Parents attended the
6th Annual Scholarship & Field Fund Benefit on April 19th at HACKNEY'S and appeared to have a wee bit of fun among fellow EURO supporters and coaches. We thank all of our parents, alum, coaches and benefit guests for your financial and social contributions that raised approximately $10K for the fund. This helps cover a portion of the $18k+ in annual scholarships to EURO players and $5k for field maintenance.
Raffle ticket HIGHEST SALES winners were Joey Stewart, Ned Seaman and Annabelle Etheridge. Each will be taking home a DICK's gift certificate for more soccer gear!
RAFFLE WINNERS...Jacki Hayes, Aunt of Phillips kids (U13B, U12G, U9B), Julie Conway (U10G) & Lilly Scott (U10G). Thanks for playing!
The EURO Parent Advisory Board
OUR BOWLING OUTING NEEDS TO BE REVISITED!

Euro parent David Seaman working the sizzlin grillin!
THE EURO KICK OFF BBQ was a success! We had a great turnout of well over 95 people and despite the sketchy weather forecast --- who could ask for more?!
Thanks to all that came out to enjoy the smorgasbord of burgers, hot dogs & gourmet sausages right off the grill -- and shared the many sides and desserts. The parent/coach/player soccer game was all we needed for entertainment. What’s a few pulled backs and scraped knees among you competitive folk? Win or lose, it was a super fun and a memorable experience.
SPECIAL THANKS to all the parents who helped prepare for and contributed to the event.
All participants attentive to direction by Coach James Meara
